Part-Time Club Administrator
Leicester Celtic is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Club Administrator to support the effective day-to-day administration and organisation of our large grassroots football club, which currently consists of 70 teams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chairperson, Treasurer and Club Secretary and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Club.
Key Responsibilities
Player, Squad & Team Administration
- Coordinate team and player registrations
- Provide administrative support to team managers and coaches
- Maintain accurate records of players, coaches, volunteers, and teams on Clubzap
- Track disciplinary matters including suspensions, fines, and appeals
General Administration
- Act as the Garda Vetting Administrator for the club
- Assist club secretaries with fixture scheduling
- Ensure club policies, safeguarding, and GDPR requirements are current and compliant
- Receive and post match results
Communications
- Coordinate club-wide communications to parents, coaches, and volunteers via Clubzap
- Liaise with Clubzap to maintain the club website, including news, fixtures, results, and general updates
Financial Administration (Future Development)
There is potential for this role to evolve to include tracking and reporting on club finances, such as:
- Membership fees
- Camps
- MWC and other club events
Skills & Experience
- Excellent IT skills essential (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, online registration systems)
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Comfortable working within a volunteer-led organisation
- Knowledge of Irish grassroots football structures is an advantage
Hours & Remuneration
- 20 hours per week (4 hours per weekday)
- 3 days onsite in the clubhouse and 2 days working from home
- Flexibility available during season breaks
- €20 per hour, paid through PAYE
