Two Leicester Celtic U13 teams were away this past weekend in Cambrils, competing against 14 other teams from England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Catalonia and Spain. The tournament was well-organised and greatly enjoyed by players and coaches alike!

Leicester Celtic FC is once again teaming up with Festival Republic (the team behind Longitude) and Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council to provide community stewards for an exciting lineup of concerts this summer – including the epic Longitude weekend!
This year’s headline events include:

• 24 June – Olivia Rodrigo
• 28 June – Chris Brown
• 1 July – Noah Kahan
• 5–6 July – Longitude Festival

By volunteering as a steward, you're doing more than helping concert-goers – you’re supporting your community and backing your club. In return for every 10-12 hours you complete, you’ll receive a free ticket to the concert of your choice, or a Longitude day pass. Plus, the club receives a generous donation from the promoters – so everybody wins!
We’re calling on all LCFC members, families, and friends aged 18 or older – including parents, grandparents, and neighbours – to get involved. Choose full-day shifts (10–12 hours) or half-day shifts (5–6 hours), whatever suits your schedule. Just let us know what team you or your family are connected with, and we’ll get you signed up.
Even better – invite a few friends or colleagues to join in. They can earn a ticket too!
Please note: This is a friendly guiding role – not security. You’ll be helping attendees find their way to and from the venue and ensuring they avoid nearby residential areas. Any security matters will be handled by the professionals and Gardaí.

The LCFC Mini World Cup registration is now closed, and most categories are full. We have, however, created a waiting list you can register for by emailing [email protected]

Mini World Cup Update 
Please note that registration for all age groups for the Leicester Celtic Mini World Cup 2024 will be closing on Friday 31 May at 10pm .
 A waiting list will be in operation following that date. A waiting list has already been in operation for u9s/u10s (2016/2015) and u11s/u12s (2014/2013) age group and teams.
