LCFC Mini World Cup 24 has finished

​The Leicester Celtic Mini World Cup 2024 has come to an end, but what a week it was! 5 days with over 700 kids playing 240 matches interspersed with fun, food and festivities. The weather held up as much as could be hoped with only some slight misery to be endured in the early part of Friday evening. We’d like to take another opportunity to thank

• our sponsors for their funds and supplies
• DLRCOCO for the continued use of Nutgrove Loreto Park
• Ballinteer St. Johns GAA for the use of their pitch allowing us an additional 14 matches played each day
• Nutgrove Men’s Shed for the help and support they provided with monitoring on-street parking
• Paul Lundy and Mark Collins for their excellent photography
• Nutgrove Shopping Centre of the use of their carpark to facilitate the added influx of families
• Our First Aider Cameron who was always there to make things better
• Some of our older players getting a chance to see what a referee's life is like
• All of the volunteers who helped over the 5 days to ensure the event happened smoothly.
