Claire, Kevin, Alex & Larry Leicester Celtic is delighted to acknowledge the Sports Development Grant received from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown CC. This grant will be used to further develop our Girls Football section within the club. We would like to place on record our thanks to DLRCC for their continued support to Leicester Celtic It is a very sad day and it is with a very heavy heart that we have to let you know that our amazing young player Scott Skinner sadly passed away last night. Scott was a brilliant footballer and a wonderful young man. A Leicester Celtic player through and through. He started in our Academy at a very young age and was always a pleasure to coach. Soon he started playing for Leicester Celtic. He was an important member of Ciaran Shanahan and Gerry Kiernans squad from U8s up and continued to be a valued member of the current u18s Premier squad. Scott and his family have had a very difficult two years. Scott was a fighter and he fought hard against his illness with the amazing support of his dedicated family. On behalf of everyone in the Leicester Celtic community, we wish to extend our deepest and heart felt sympathy to Scott's parents Larry and Claire, to his brothers Alex and Kevin and to all his coaches and team mates. Scott will be missed so much by us all. May He Rest In Peace.
