Chris Rooney RIP

​It is with deep regret and sorrow that we report the tragic news of the sudden death of  one of our ex-players, Chris Rooney (31) , last Sunday afternoon on the 21st March.   Chris played for Leicester Celtic at under age and Senior Level for many years. He is fondly remembered by his team mates, managers, and coaches, as a dedicated and talented player who was deeply passionate about his football.   We extend our sympathies, from all the Leicester Celtic Community, past and present, to his Dad, Brothers, Keith and Gavin, his fiancée Katie, and all his extended family and friends.
