On behalf of everyone in Leicester Celtic FC we want to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Kieran family on the passing of Niall Kieran in a tragic cycling accident in France last week. Niall's dad Gerry is a former coach, and his brother Conor played for Leicester Celtic for many years. Deepest condolences to Gerry, Conor, and all the Kieran family. Niall Kieran RIP The Leicester Celtic Mini World Cup 2024 has come to an end, but what a week it was! 5 days with over 700 kids playing 240 matches interspersed with fun, food and festivities. The weather held up as much as could be hoped with only some slight misery to be endured in the early part of Friday evening. We’d like to take another opportunity to thank

Normal matches played over the last 3 days have brought us to our Semifinal fixtures to be played tonight with the Finals played Sunday. Make sure you come out and catch tonight's matches, soak in the atmosphere, eat some burgers and enter the raffle. You can see the Group Standings and tonight's fixtures on our MWC app. To say we had an action packed opening day at our Mini World Cup 2024 would be an understatement. All the footballers and their guests enjoyed not only the 48 matches played, but also the music, food and festive atmosphere. Photo by Paul Lundy.
The footballers aren't the only ones with a chance to win because you can enter our Raffle to win one of 5 great prizes so come out and join us for the rest of the week. We're excited to announce that the Mini World Cup is finally here. We'll be busy this weekend getting all of the final touches in place to make this year's MWC bigger and better than ever before.
