Tomorrow Saturday August 31st sees the opening of our new 5g astro pitch will be known as Damien Duff park. 

There is a full day of events including mini tournaments, bouncy castles, and a showcase match of coaches v coaches. 

There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes, a BBQ and other great activities.

The Official Opening of Leicester Celtic FC's brand new 5G Astro named "Damien Duff Park" will take place on Sat August 31st. This will be a MASSIVE Family Fun day with loads going on throughout the entire day and evening!!!

As part of the proceedings we will be running mixed age group football blitz's, so we need to know (by this  Wednesday night at latest) that your kid is available to play on the day so we can stick them onto a team

Times to be confirmed but younger age groups will run 10-1 and older age groups 1-4.

Leicester Celtic under 15’s Sunday participated in the Rathcoole tournament today.
We are absolutely delighted with the lads performance who won every single match they played, and came away with the Winners Trophy!!!!!! Every lad played great, and a team effort was evident in their play.
Kyle Houlihan won Player of the Tournament..... hard decision, and special mention to Liam Tormey who scored 8 fantastic goals.

Leicester Celtic have proudly organised the first year of the u11 (2009) Rathfarnham Cup and Rathfarnham Shield tournaments, which will take place in Loreto Park and on our brand new World Class 5G Astro on Sat 7th September from 9.30 AM till 3.30PM. 

Lots of local interest in the first year of the Rathfarnham Cup, so will be lots of teams entering from the Rathfarnham, Dundrum, Ballinteer, Terenure, Knocklyon and Tallaght areas.

We will stream this as A-B leagues in one tournament and B1-D leagues in the other stream, so all teams get a fair crack and plenty of game time in the tournament.

Entry per team is €80 for the inaugural 7-a-side Rathfarnham Cup/Shield tournament.

Full details to follow but each team will play a minimum of 5 games on the day.

Teams entry into the tournament need to be confirmed by August 23rd or entry cannot be guaranteed.  

We are holding two Open sessions next Monday and Wednesday (7-8pm) for our three U14 teams who will play on Saturdays and Sundays .
